SECURITY CLINIC
This is online (zoom),radio and television interactive programme developed and anchored to educate the public on basic security threats with time /season, safety science ,risk and disaster management, trends and patterns of crime in Nigeria localities and how to curb it using intelligence policing system. It’s a community service programme organized to create a collective security culture.
In examining the various perspectives that have attempted to capture the causes of security threats in our environments and likely solutions to this menace permit me to summarize security in the following insightful comment:
“Security is an all-encompassing condition in which individual citizen lives in freedom, peace and safety, participate fully in the process of governance, enjoy the protection of fundamental rights, have access to resources and the basic necessities of life; and inhibit an environment which is not detrimental to their health and well-being” (South African White Paper on Defence, 1996).

To educate citizens on basic security skills and intelligence gathering /sharing, security management, control and loss prevention and citizenship maximization of their earnings through healthy lifestyle

To train/educate citizens and vigilanteson basic security threats, concept of security planning, development and management and how to cultivate security consciousness.
Evaluate the methods that can be adopted to counter security threat via intelligence (tactical & strategic)
Examine the relevance of fortification and manoeuvre tactics in security within your environment.
To acquaint citizens and vigilantes to be conversant with routine management of security issues and principles of loss prevention, and needs for incident reaction.
To highlight the major pinpoints salient changes on how your environment and security management must prepare, respond, manage, and mitigate threatening security operations.
To expose citizens and vigilantes to the various methods of security technology and application of ICT/ intelligence lead policing system
To develop application the run on smart phones and computers that will trigger/ activate at dark spot and create security consciousness“1MAN SQUAD”
To identify vulnerabilities in complex and local infrastructure within and out your premises.
Analyze the growing security threat that asymmetric aggression constitute and how it affects strategic planning.
Discuss how rational emotive behavioral therapy (REBT) can help in managing stress/trauma among victims of crime.
Demonstrate the relevance of public relations (PR) in security awareness/business in the community.
